Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a full stack engineer to join us on our journey moving forward. Beyond years of experience and job titles, what really matters to us is your genuine passion for delivering great work, your ambition to solve problems, and your enthusiasm for continuous improvement.

What will we do together?

You will take on the role of a consultant, helping our clients solve complex software challenges. You will develop new skills by gradually moving from project to project and this will support you in progressing faster in your career. You will be focusing on innovation instead of maintenance, together with other experienced consultants from engineering to product, QA, UI & UX.

As a full stack JavaScript engineer, you will:

• Co-create custom software together with software development teams at our clients, impacting large numbers of users in Scandinavia and beyond 🌎
• Work in a distributed team with co-located colleagues in Slovenia and remote colleagues living in Sweden
• Actively participate in system architecture and product decisions
• Build impressive frontends that enhance the end user’s experience
• Design and build modern and highly available containerised backend solutions
• Constantly help your colleagues grow and work better through code reviews and pair programming
• Continuously enhance ways of working regarding relationships, tools, and best practices
• Have the opportunity to participate in panels, facilitate workshops, and share knowledge about topics of your choice both with your colleagues as well as the extended tech community in Slovenia and beyond

We believe you have:

• Approximately 4+ years of relevant professional experience
• Fluency in English
• A passion for technology, sharing knowledge, and enabling others to grow and develop
• High attention to detail, user experience, and responsive design
• A fundamental understanding of JavaScript, its runtimes, and asynchronous programming
• Proven experience with at least one major frontend framework, preferably React
• Experience with Node.js
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, GCP or Azure
• Proficiency with object-oriented programming
• Experience with event-driven architecture
• Experience with and understanding of relational and NoSQL databases
• Experience with heavy frontend clients (integrating with REST and GraphQL, Authentication, Web Assembly, Service Workers, and Web Workers)
• A tool belt equipped with automation, build, and performance tools
